I so happy when I started reading First Debt to see that we begin where we left off in Debt inheritance. This story delves more into Jethro that the first book which, let's face it we need more Jethro to get to the bottom of this enticing story. As Nila navigates through the darkness of her situation she finds that she is drawn to Jethro and hates the effects he has on her. But another has come to soothe her wounds one that she believes to have had a connection to in the past. Kestral she believes is Kite the one she has been sexting with for so long. The question becomes can she trust that this is the person that she should give her heart to? Should she trust that he will save her? Should she trust him at all?
She decides that she will continue with her plan to seduce and make Jethro fall for her, but her plan is back firing as she begins to get closer to him.
This story has so many twists that you will get dizzy from the surprises that Pepper gives us. The biggest revelation that will have you gasping and yelling at your reader at the same time is at the end. Ans with that end comes the eagerness you will feel at waiting for the next installment of this dark romance that is developing in Indebted. Answers that need to be given, Jethro has more explaining to do in the next book and I can not wait!!!

A small
gasp fell from my lips as his fingers kissed the paper-thin skin. His eyes held
me hostage. The golden brown was now a swirling bronze, raging with the same
demanding hunger I knew reflected in mine.
“This
sort of reminds me of the forest,” I whispered. “The trees around us—no one
else.” My words fell like petals, waiting for Jethro to crush them beneath his
glossy shoe.
But…he
didn’t.
Tracing
one hand from my wrist, along the inside of my arm, and right to my throat, he
fisted my ponytail. With intensity that stripped my soul to the very essence of
who I was, he pulled my head back slowly, sensually, full of sexual power.
