A second chance romance, with both people regretting not getting the first chance in the first place. So this is really a first chance romance or a friends to lovers romance, either way this book was phenomenal. A story that speaks to the reader in me. Chloe a romance author and Sam her hunky childhood friend, who is secretly the hero in her books. 
Their respect and love for one another held them back for what could be amazing but now with all their secrets and baggage (not all) behind them they can be what her romance novels give us and HEA. 
Well we wouldn’t be reading an Emily Goodwin romance if we didn’t have a cliffer that made you cringe. So, we have a cliffer that made me cringe and hate that a perfect HEA would get messed up. So now my phenomenal friends to romance that I will be eagerly awaiting the conclusion to. October can not get here fast enough for Sam and Chloe to have their Perfect romance end with hearts in my eyes and passion in my soul. Emily, I await your masterpiece!
