Caroline Abbott loves her job—helping engaged couples pick out the perfect save the date cards and invitations for their dream wedding. Working at Noteworthy means she has to deal with the occasional bridezilla, but Caroline’s always up for the challenge.
Until one particular bridezilla walks into the stationery store who’s fiancĂ© happens to be the boy Caroline shared her first kiss with. Alexander Wilder is all grown up now, helping run his family’s successful luxury hotel chain, and is somehow even better looking than she remembers.
When Caroline just happens to catch Alex’s fiancĂ©e half naked with another man well, of course she has to tell Alex. Of course, he breaks off his engagement.
And of course, the ex-bridezilla has gone completely bonkers.
At least Caroline has her friends to save her from crazy ex-fiancĂ©es. But she also has the sudden interest of…Alex? Caroline knows they share a connection, but is he on the rebound? Or after seeing her all these years later, does he really want something more?

Swoon! That about sums up the feels this quirky romance will provide. It checks off all the romance and angst required, at least for me, in a second chance romance. First off they travel to Paris, the city of romance. Then there is some fancy shopping.. in Paris. Add in the dreamy Alex mix it up with Caroline's quirky personality and bam you have a romance you wont, wouldn't want to if you had to put it down. Me personally I read it in about um, well let's just say I got no sleep and work was interfering with my reading (how rude).
Save the date is a refreshingly new take on the second chance stories, a first kiss that comes back from the past. Most of these stories are filled with a first time around that had some kind of drama that caused the rift. Nope this is about two young kids that had a crush acted on it and then we're separated. The outcome of their reunion after 12 years is simply swoon worthy. How many of us think about that first kiss and where they are now, you know the what if's? Monica nailed it in the best way, a trip to my dream destination and passion that is Noteworthy this book left me feeling warm and fuzzy. I have a feeling or hope we will see more of Caroline and Alex with a story for her brother, Carter?!?
A must have, a must read and definitely add to your shelf, because the cover is amazing.
