Why him, why let him suffer the survival of being the only one on his team to live. He can't look at himself, not the part that isn't scarred and definitely not the part that is scarred. Could he find some on to look beyond the scars?
Dr. Presley is a chiropractor, she believes in healing with out so many drugs. She works closely with the VA to help the survivors of war, her new patient has lots to work through, not only injuries. His psychological scars are the ones that will be harder to work through. She sees a beautiful man that is brave and strong and loving. A man that could love her if only he let her love him.
This book is filled with angst and passion. Suspense that will keep you biting your nails to get to the mystery that is mixed with the love growing for Hendy.

RC Boldt is the wife of Mr. Boldt, a retired Navy Chief, mother of Little Miss Boldt, and former teacher of many students. She currently lives on the southeastern coast of North Carolina, enjoys long walks on the beach, running, reading, people watching, and singing karaoke. If you’re in the mood for some killer homemade mojitos, can’t recall the lyrics to a particular 80’s song, or just need to hang around a nonconformist who will do almost anything for a laugh, she’s your girl.
