Free spirits often need to find those that ground them, for Kelsey that is Clint. In the same note a person that is reserved and shy needs a free spirit to free them. That is what Kelsey is to Clint.
Together they are perfect and as I read this book they sank more and more into my heart.
I am not saying this was all roses and crap no, there were growing pains and lots of angst, but that is what great romances have, pain and love. Things they have to overcome. Pasts they have to outrun. A loneliness they have to deal with and finally the realization that they can't do it with out the other. That is what Carrie gives us in this amazing read about two people that didn't know they could be so much more together than they were apart..

They say those who can't do, teach. Well, Carrie has no hand-eye coordination, and her idea of romance is a Netflix marathon complete with Thai food. So, she writes sports romance novels instead.
Beginning her writing career as a journalist, Carrie wrote about real-life crime and scandal before turning to the fantasy world of fiction. She lives with her husband in an apartment they are constantly outgrowing.
