Marcus and Amy meet and the heat is smoldering but left on a low heat, because Amy leaves before she could get burned. Marcus didn't want to burn her he simply wanted for their one encounter to end on his terms. Yeah neither of them got what they wanted or desired(not deep down wanting) See these are two intelligent and beautiful people that are just to afraid of the big "C" word...COMMITMENT. SO afraid that they have made it a mission to have anything but casual encounters. But when they connected that excitement from living in the moment lingered.
Amy s a strong character with issues that she has yet to face which is causing her to live in the now, but her change through this book, realizing that she can shed hers fears and trust the man she is with is amazing. Tia's writing puts you in Amy's shoes. Her anger, her love and her passion for her mother and for Marcus are amazing.
Marcus, another of Tia's hot and sexy men on the page. Trust worth, hones and let's not forget SCHMEXY!
