OMG What can I say about this beautiful and powerful story that I have just read? Having a unfaithful father then marrying and unfaithful man does things to a woman, it leaves you scarred. Worse is when the cheating scum leave something behind that can wreck your soul. What happened to Ana is tragic but what came of it was a strong and independent woman who closed her heart and just wanted to have fun. I mean i would to right? Until that is she met Teddy (Yes as in the bear) Everything she looked for in a conquest , thinking she would carry on as she had in the past. Teddy was of the same mindset. No complications not strings. Boy were they wrong!!!!
This book is powerfully emotional, sexually heated and most importantly healing. As I read the story of their lives I found my self in a trance. Both have tragic pasts that have made them who they are... haunted, lonely but strong. This is the first MJ Nightingale book I have read, after this one i will continue to read more.

I was instantly grabbed by this book causing me to have a book hangover! I Picked it up and did nothing but read until I was finished with Monica and Victor's story. Having met them briefly in Afraid To Love I was so happy I could get more of Ana's sister. Now I warn you ladies you will love and hate and then Love Victor again in this book so BRACE yourselves!
Monica has overcome a horrific trauma in her childhood which makes her giving her heart to someone difficult. when she meets Victor at a club with her sister Ana, she finds herself instantly attracted to him knowing full well that she will be giving this man her heart and that it will be broken, but she gives love a chance! Go Monica!!!
Now Victor is a gentleman, a military man, a man that loves his family and will do what is right by them. What he can't do is let Monica fall in love with him.
I tell you ladies this man was killing me through out this while book! He was passionate, adventurous, sexy, loving, I mean shall I go on? He was perfect but he has secrets and no relationship can flourish with secrets. So yeah I wanted to kick his BUTT!!!
I loved this book and yes I got more of Ana and Teddy(**SWOON**) I love Teddy!
Don't worry ladies you will love Victor as well cuz he gets his act together giving you the HEA your looking for, but remember that I warned you, so don't be to hard on him!

Jay is ex military that has a severe PTSD due to his childhood, time in Afghanistan, and more. He is afraid to love again or to let any one in. So he spends his life unattached to women that lend themselves to one night stands and no commitments. When jay meets Louisa, he feels this pull that has him rethinking his view on relationships. Louisa finds herself falling and hoping that she has finally found the one that will hold her heart. But life has a way of throwing things out of sorts just to see if you can handle what we have. That is exactly what happens to Louisa and Jay, their past trauma come in and shake things up.
I love that way that Jay has no filters and how quickly he shows Lou how to let loose and have fun. Filling the pages with some shmexy talk, that will have you fanning yourself, so read where no one will see you blush!
I love reading the Secrets & Seduction series, they are filled with sisterly love and bonds that can not be broken. The bond between Louisa, Monica and Ana is amazing!
