My Five Star Review:
Perfection! Not just a romance, no this book is so much more a book of acceptance and heroās. Logan, the man that survived horrors and came home an Mollie the nurse that saves everyone. Heroās most people donāt like or want to be called that, they just do what has to be done. That is the truth for both of these powerful characters that is their truth. Connected from youth and so much more, but time and circumstances have robbed Logan of some of those memories.
Small things connect Mollie and Logan but most of all his family. A family that has suffered more than most, and in desperate need for order and help. So instead of asking her out and her calling him out the decide to help each other because of their past. For him because he sees more than what she offers and that scares him. For her she fears he will remember their more recent past and recent her. Overcoming it all makes them stronger and for us one heck of a romance to read. Again, perfection.

Excerpt
Before I can turn around, I feel him at my back and a chill creeps up my
neck. His hands grip my arms and his hard chest pressing against my shoulders
feels like the safest place on Earth. He leans his head down and puts his lips
at my ear. āI wish you didnāt have to leave.ā
My heart skips a beat and then thrums wildly. Thereās no way out of
visiting my parents at this point. āMe too. But we still have a little time
together. Thanksgivāā I scoff when I realize my assumption.
āOf course, I want to spend Thanksgiving with you.ā
I grin, though he canāt see it. āI have to admitā¦it will be tough being
away.ā
He runs his hands down my arms before slipping one around my middle. āHow
long?ā
āIāll probably be there a couple weeks, home a little after Christmas
maybe.ā
I try not to flinch when his hand slides beneath the hem of my sweater
and skates across my bare skin. āI can wait, Mollie. If thatās what you want.ā
I donāt want to wait, but I canāt get any words out.
āYou said we should go slow. Get to know each other. Be open.ā He brushes
my hair to the side, exposing my neck. āI may not know everything about you,
Mollie. But I know you. I know your heart and your will and your
determinationā¦and your vulnerability.ā He places soft kisses at the top of my
shoulder, searing my skin. In between kisses, his voice is velvet. āIām not
sure how it happened, but I feel like Iāve known you my whole life.ā
I wrap my arm around his neck and let out a soft sigh. āI want you to
know it all.ā Turning my head to the side, I part my lips, calling his to mine.
āTo have it all.ā
He wastes no time joining our mouths and stealing my breath with his
warmth. A warmth that quickly turns to fire as we taste each other with soft
slow nudges and nips.
Dizzy with need, I pull back to look in his eyes, breathing heavily. His
hand cups my chin, keeping my face, my lips, close to his. āI might have some
broken pieces that arenāt fully repairedā¦and I might have some blank spaces I
canāt rememberā¦but the rest is all yours.ā He kisses me once, gently. āIf
youāll have me.ā
