Get ready to drown, drown in the misery, the danger the suspense most of all drown in the love that lives in the hearts of Orion and Lotus. This story is addictive, just like they are to one another. I love Orion, his strength, his willing to sacrifice his heart to protect the woman he loves. He sees her, in the pond in the back yard of the house they once lived in. In the rooms she slept in. The one place he can't seem to change, because it all reminds him of the one person that saw him. The one person he would give everything up for, his Lotus.
Lotus drowned, giving her heart over to Orion and never getting it back. She never stopped loving, always affected when he is in the room. Trying to move forward but never able to let her heart truly love, she couldn't because Orion never gave it back. She tried though living in a fog thinking that she had moved on.
I felt the passion, the pain and the agony of their separation. I was addicted having to sneak reading time through out my work day and losing sleep. Totally worth every minute I spent in the lives of Lotus and Orion, wishing I too had a pond filled with Lilly pads and lotus flowers.
