The Book Fairy Reviews's Reviews
This story is about how you cope with where life takes you. Yeah we all complain but some of us thrust into things that we are not prepared for and the thrust into something that will drag you further into that chaos. That is what happened to Jag Steele.
Broken to the point of not wanting to feel using a substitute to make that feeling blow away, that was Jag until he found something worth more than that high. He found Roxy.
I loved reading about the Rock God and his dirty ways. I love reading how he found that the life he thought was a dream was nothing compared to the woman he loved. I love it all! Yes I cried, I got goosebumps and you know what I felt what they were suffering. Stevie gives us this world of sex, drugs and rock n roll. The reality that we see and through her words transports you there. I mean I could picture him in the tabloids and on stage. God I was a total fan girl!!!!
Perfection!
RUSH
Sex is all I need. I don’t need love.
I’m Rush Wilder, bassist of Pandemic Sorrow, which means I can practically have any woman I want—except Jules. She’s off limits because she’s part of that industry that owns my ass. And that’s fine, because I’m a rocker through and through. Girls that will never have me for more than one night. Wild parties. Tours. . .and Jules always in the back of my mind.
Sex was all I had. And she made me think maybe rock stars do need someone to love after all

Growing to know oneself was never and impassioned and amazing!
Rush the self professional who're but to him all of the whoring around with fans was part of the job. By that I mean it was written in his contract to do so. He took his snobbery seriously. But when Jag began to change he noticed that he was changing along with him, albeit it kicking and s reaming. At the center of his change or maybe the true p purposeful his change was Jules.
She was the one that put up with his abuse of drugs and then ever ending line of women. But he steamrolled to her for his emotions and his heart. Could he governor all up for her. Will she look at him with something other than disgust?
I thought I loved Jag out of all of the Pandemic Sorrow guys but after reading Rush's story I think Jag might be combining at second. I mean Rush may bean bass but he was loyal to his friend in his own messed up way. When he realizes what his heart truly wants and what will make the he in his life full, well let's just say that he takes full charge of it.
Thrilling and dirty Rush is the picture of a Rock Star. Reading about him becoming more is truly epic!
ROXY
When you don't want to hurt having the ability t
o be numb is your best defense mechanism. And for a long time all I was doing was existing.
I thought Jag Steele was arrogant and entitled, the standard dick of a rock star. Funny thing is, people aren't always who you expect them to be. Never in a million years would I have thought the night I meet Jag would hold any significance, but it did.
I found out that sometimes something that screams utter destruction might actually be your saving grace.
Some people may say our story was too screwed up to be a romance, but for two broken people, we made the pieces fit together perfectly.

A past is a hard thing to outrun for some it is harder than others. For Roxy the physical scars were nothing compared to the emotional ones. Having lost everything to drugs and addiction she has shut herself down to feeling the joys of life and love. She never thought she would have to go through that pain of loving again, until she met Jag Steele.
Jag, is a ROCK GOD. Jag is the ultimate rocker, he has the swagger, he has the looks, he lives the fast life with the girls and, yes the drugs. He doesn't hide it either. He knows he's an addict, so if you love him you love him the way he is, until Roxy walked into his life.
Together they make the hollowness of their life disappear. They make life bearable for one another. Can it last? Can they overcome the darkness of their past and leave behind their coping crutches? Can Jag leave the trapping of his fame and live a normal life?
OMG ladies if you read any book this year you have to read this one! everything that you want is here~ Sorrow, romance, setbacks that will break your heart and yes Stevie gives us the all mighty HEA.
With all that Roxy has suffered she is stronger that who she thinks she is. Headstrong makes her the perfect person for Jag. I love her and admire her, her strength, her determination and her ability to forgive and love the man she knows will hurt her.
Jag is perfectly flawed. He knows who he wants to be, he knows who he needs to be and what he has to do to be that person he just needs the courage and the right reason to do it all. Roxy is his person.
I loved reading this book and this series. Everyone has to read Roxy, she will own your heart!

Raw. Gritty. Love.
Because sometimes characters need to be flawed.
P.S. Stevie's greatest fear is the impending zombie apocalypse. Think about it: swarming armies of decaying, oozing corpses stumbling around with clicking teeth, trying to eat your face. Nothing about that is good. NOTHING!
