MY REVIEW:
Filled with pain, the inner pain that eats away at you, pain that can possibly break you if you let it. That pain is usually called guilt, left unchecked will destroy you. That is how I felt as I was reading this beautiful story.
I found myself asking what would I do?
What would I do if I found myself in the same situation? No one really knows until they are there.
Would you do the unthinkable to protect or avenge the one you love?
These were some of the questions that rattled through my brain as I read Nick's story.
Now I often read books looking for that knight in shining armor, you know the one that will avenge you and protect you no matter what. Nick pretty much was that knight in this book. An imperfect knight but a knight none the less. And I loved it!
A complicated subject handle in a complicated way. This book tackled it in a perfect way giving me everything I needed and more.
This was an amazing 5 star read!
